ABOUT ME
I was born in New York, in 1995. Both my parents are actors, and we left the city when I was ten to open a theatre in Idaho. Experiencing western wilderness gave me an immense appreciation for the outdoors that still informs my life and work. I came back to New York and got my BA at Fordham University, which gave me a love for movement and devised work, and encouraged me to create pieces myself. I also play the drums and the piano, focusing mostly on composition and jazz improvisation.
UPCOMING: AS YOU LIKE IT
An adapted film using Shakespeare's text to explore a story of love, loss, and friendship. Inspired by the experience of isolating with roommates during the Covid-19 quarantine, the forest of Arden becomes a place where the characters are forced to reckon with who they are, because everything else is gone. I played Orlando and composed the music with Franco Giacomarra. Adapted and directed by Kendall Cafaro and Marc David Wright.
LIFE
A series based on my own experience arriving at college and thinking being in a class full of other actors and creatives would give me the motivation I needed to finally be a good student. Instead, finding that all these previous issues, mental health, identity, substance abuse, magnified even more than before. A dark and comic look at what pushes people's behaviors and how this world can be weird and cruel and beautiful and worth engaging in.
ORC IS HOLLOW
A 10 year old elf, a princess with a magic tennis racket, a goblin named Gloom, and a nercomancer walk into a dream. There's no punch line because it's the opening scene to Orc is Hollow, a dungeons and dragon inspired series. Anything can be true in a fantastical world. Race, class, work, love, death, and the outdoors can be explored, with the absurdity and wildness helping to illustrate the ridiculousness of our own world, when the only thread between them is the human experience, longing for connection, for love, and for a place to call home.
